Utilising Our Renewal Calendar Feature
The Renewal Calendar gives you a clear, centralised view of all your upcoming SaaS subscription renewals.
By syncing data from your connected (auto-integrated) SaaS tools, it shows exactly when your subscriptions are due, how much they cost, and what action may be required. This helps you stay ahead of renewals, avoid unnecessary charges, and make smarter decisions about your software stack.
What the Renewal Calendar Does
The Renewal Calendar automatically pulls in renewal data from your connected SaaS integrations and presents it in a structured, easy-to-scan format.
It provides:
- Upcoming renewal dates across all tools
- Cost visibility (monthly or recurring spend)
- Billing frequency (monthly, annual, etc.)
- Auto-renew status (whether a subscription will renew automatically)
- Days remaining until each renewal
- Source tracking (where the data comes from, e.g. integration or manual entry)
At the top of the page, you’ll also see a summary of:
- Total spend due in the next 30 days
- Total spend due in the next 90 days
- Number of upcoming renewals
Why This Feature Matters
Without visibility into renewals, SaaS costs can quickly spiral out of control. Our renewal calendar helps solve this by giving you proactive control instead of reactive surprises.
Avoid Unexpected Charges – Know exactly what’s coming up before you’re billed, so there are no surprises.
Reduce Wasted Spend – Spot subscriptions that are about to renew but are no longer needed or underused.
Improve Budget Forecasting – Understand upcoming costs over the next 30 to 90 days to better manage cash flow.
Take Action Before It’s Too Late – Many SaaS tools require cancellation before a renewal date. This feature ensures you don’t miss those windows.
Centralised Visibility – No more checking multiple platforms or digging through invoices. Everything is in one place.

How to Use the Renewal Calendar
- Monitor Upcoming Renewals
Use the Next 30 Days and Next 90 Days summaries to quickly understand immediate financial impact and medium-term SaaS commitments. This is especially useful for finance and operations teams planning budgets. - Prioritise Urgent Actions
Look at the “Days Left” column.
– Today / 1–3 days → urgent action required
– Within a week → review now
– Longer term → schedule review later
This helps teams focus on what needs attention first. - Identify High-Cost Subscriptions
Scan the Cost column to quickly spot expensive tools, tools with high user counts, and services that may need optimisation. You can then review whether these tools are delivering value. - Check Auto-Renew Status
The Auto-Renew indicator shows whether a subscription will renew automatically.
If enabled → ensure the tool is still needed or if disabled → decide whether to renew or let it expire. - Filter and Sort Data
Use filters to easily view specific time ranges, sort by renewal date or cost or to focus on certain billing frequencies. This makes it easier to analyse your data based on your current priority. - Combine with Other Features
Our Renewal Calendar becomes even more powerful when used alongside Employee Tracking to identify tools linked to offboarded employees. As well as Cost Analytics to understand long-term spend trends.
Best Practices with the SaaSi Hub Renewal Calendar
To get the most value from the Renewal Calendar, it’s important to build it into your regular workflow rather than treating it as a one-off check. Reviewing it on a weekly basis helps you stay ahead of upcoming renewals and avoid last-minute decisions.
Before any high-cost subscriptions renew, take the time to assess whether they’re still delivering value or if they can be downgraded or removed altogether.
Cancelling unused tools early is key, especially for services that require notice periods before billing. It’s also worth aligning your reviews with your finance cycles, whether that’s monthly or quarterly, so SaaS spend becomes part of your broader budgeting process.
Additionally, using the Renewal Calendar during employee offboarding can help ensure that any tools linked to former team members are identified and dealt with before they renew.
By bringing all your renewal data into one place, it gives you the control needed to reduce unnecessary spend, optimise your software stack, and plan more effectively for future costs.
